2. Personal data we process

The service may process the passenger’s first and last name, telephone number, selected contact method, optional email address, route, travel date, number of passengers, booking request details and technical data required for the operation and security of the website, including the IP address, error logs and cookie data.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Personal data is used to search for journeys, process and manage bookings, communicate with customers, provide the necessary information to carriers, handle cancellations and enquiries, protect the website and comply with legal obligations. The legal bases are taking steps at the user’s request before entering into a contract and performing a contract, compliance with legal obligations and, for security and the protection of legal claims, the controller’s legitimate interests.

4. Required information

First name, last name, contact method and telephone number are required to process a booking request. The email address is optional unless otherwise stated in the form. It may not be possible to process a booking request without the required information.

5. Recipients of personal data

Necessary personal data may be provided to the relevant carrier, the provider of the journey search or booking system, the hosting provider, the email service provider and authorised technical support providers. Only data necessary for the relevant purpose is provided. Information about the payment service provider will be added to this policy before online payment is launched.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, the controller applies the legal mechanisms and appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR. Current information about specific recipients may be requested by email.

Booking request data is retained for as long as necessary to process the booking, provide customer support, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations. Once these purposes have ended, the data is deleted or anonymised unless further retention is required by law.
